Our sustain\u00adability report is based on the VSME standard1<\/sup> from EFRAG \u2013 the European framework for voluntary sustain\u00adability reporting for small and medium-sized enter\u00adprises (SMEs). The report covers the financial year 2025 and examines our business activ\u00adities from two perspec\u00adtives: their impact on the envi\u00adronment and society, and the financial oppor\u00adtu\u00adnities and risks that arise for Dolder Hotel AG as a result. This is our company\u2019s first stand\u00adalone sustain\u00adability report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Signif\u00adicant devel\u00adop\u00adments that have occurred between the balance sheet date (31 December 2025) and the publi\u00adcation of the report, and which mate\u00adrially affect the signif\u00adi\u00adcance of the sustain\u00adability infor\u00admation presented, are disclosed in the relevant context and iden\u00adtified as such.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

We place great impor\u00adtance on the rele\u00advance, reli\u00ada\u00adbility, and compre\u00adhen\u00adsi\u00adbility of the infor\u00admation presented. Where appro\u00adpriate, we supplement the standard require\u00adments with industry-specific topics and addi\u00adtional key perfor\u00admance indi\u00adcators to provide a mean\u00adingful overall picture. The report combines quan\u00adti\u00adtative indi\u00adcators with qual\u00adi\u00adtative assess\u00adments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

As this is the first time we are reporting in this format, we present compar\u00adative figures where reliable data is available. In the coming years, we will system\u00adat\u00adi\u00adcally expand compa\u00adra\u00adbility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Earth\u00adCheck Gold <\/strong>\u2013 Dolder Hotel AG is certified to the Earth\u00adCheck corporate standard \u2013 a global bench\u00admarking and certi\u00adfi\u00adcation programme for sustainable tourism based on the prin\u00adciples of Agenda 21 for sustainable devel\u00adopment. Earth\u00adCheck provides companies with a systematic framework for envi\u00adron\u00admental and social sustain\u00adability and is recog\u00adnised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The certi\u00adfi\u00adcation involves an annual inde\u00adpendent audit in which envi\u00adron\u00admental and social perfor\u00admance is assessed against defined bench\u00admarks. Dolder Hotel AG has been Earth\u00adCheck certified since 2020 and achieved Gold certi\u00adfi\u00adcation for the first time at the end of 2024, which was success\u00adfully confirmed at the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

ISO 9001:2015 <\/strong>\u2013 Dolder Hotel AG has a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015. The certi\u00adfi\u00adcation is reviewed by SQS Swiss Asso\u00adci\u00adation for Quality and Management Systems | SQS Switzerland<\/a> as part of regular audits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The management system forms the basis for deliv\u00adering and further devel\u00adoping the appro\u00adpriate service and product quality within the unique infra\u00adstructure \u2013 thereby ensuring the sustainable economic success of both companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Swis\u00adstainable Leading <\/strong>\u2013 The Dolder Grand has achieved the highest level, \u2018Level III \u2013 Leading\u2019, in the Swis\u00adstainable programme of the Swiss Tourism Feder\u00adation (STV)<\/a>. This level is aimed at busi\u00adnesses that already hold compre\u00adhensive and recog\u00adnised sustain\u00adability certi\u00adfi\u00adcation covering all aspects of sustain\u00adability and are regu\u00adlarly audited by third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

In the case of Dolder Hotel AG, the clas\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adcation is based on Earth\u00adCheck certi\u00adfi\u00adcation. The Swis\u00adstainable programme makes sustainable commitment in Swiss tourism visible and compa\u00adrable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Top Employer Switzerland (2026) <\/strong>\u2013 Dolder Hotel AG was certified again as a Top Employer Switzerland by the Top Employers Institute<\/a> in 2026. The certi\u00adfi\u00adcation is based on the HR Best Prac\u00adtices Survey \u2013 a struc\u00adtured, inde\u00adpendent audit process that assesses and vali\u00addates employer prac\u00adtices in areas such as the working envi\u00adronment, remu\u00adner\u00adation, devel\u00adopment, diversity and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The award provides external confir\u00admation of what we strive for inter\u00adnally: a working envi\u00adronment that enables fair condi\u00adtions, personal devel\u00adopment and genuine partic\u00adi\u00adpation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The certi\u00adfi\u00adcation was obtained after the reporting period (financial year 2025) and is disclosed here as a signif\u00adicant event after the reporting date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

EnAW Effi\u00adciency Label <\/strong>\u2013 Dolder Hotel AG has been working in part\u00adnership with the Energy Agency for Industry (EnAW) since 2005 to contin\u00adu\u00adously reduce its energy consumption and CO\u2082 emis\u00adsions. As part of a binding target agreement, annual reduction targets are set and their achievement is verified exter\u00adnally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

The EnAW Effi\u00adciency Label<\/a> confirms compliance with the agreed targets. Since the part\u00adnership began, annual savings of over 1,500 MWh have been achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Verified Respon\u00adsible Hospi\u00adtality \u2013 Forbes Travel Guide (2026) <\/strong>\u2013 In early 2026, The Dolder Grand was once again honoured with the Forbes Travel Guide\u2019s VERIFIED Respon\u00adsible Hospi\u00adtality<\/a> award. This pres\u00adti\u00adgious certificate is awarded to hotels that commit to adhering to more than 100 stringent stan\u00addards for the protection of the envi\u00adronment and the well-being of their staff, guests and the local community. The award recog\u00adnises The Dolder Grand\u2019s sustained commitment to an envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally conscious and socially respon\u00adsible hospi\u00adtality industry. Veri\u00adfi\u00adcation took place after the reporting period and is listed here as a signif\u00adicant event after the reporting date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

esg2go Sustain\u00adability Report <\/strong>\u2013 esg2go is a rating and reporting system for SMEs, developed by the Center for Corporate Respon\u00adsi\u00adbility and Sustain\u00adability (CCRS). It enables a quan\u00adti\u00adta\u00adtively supported, inde\u00adpendent assessment of sustain\u00adability perfor\u00admance in the areas of Envi\u00adronment (E), Society (S) and Gover\u00adnance (G).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

As of 31 December 2025, Dolder Hotel AG achieved an overall score of 76.72 points \u2013 well above the industry- and size-specific benchmark of 60 points. The sub-scores were Gover\u00adnance 80.73, Envi\u00adronment 79.72 and Social 71.72.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
