Corporate ethics & integrity
Progress to date
Sustainability governance. The Head of Quality & Sustainability is part of the governance team and reports directly to the General Manager. This ensures that quality and sustainability issues are incorporated into strategic decisions at an early stage. Two internal sustainability committees support implementation: the D-Force Team is responsible for strategic steering and monitoring, whilst the D-Impact Team drives operational implementation and communication across all departments. Compliance with standards is continuously reviewed and further developed through regular internal audits and the Management Review.
Corporate governance. The governance structures are clearly defined. The roles of the Executive Board and the Board of Directors are separate, ensuring independent oversight. Internal deputy arrangements and professional human resources management are in place. The company has a systematic ESG reporting process and achieved a governance score of 80.73 points in the esg2go rating – well above the industry benchmark of 60 points.
Legal and compliance. With 94.37 points, the Legal & Compliance division represents the greatest strength in the governance area. As part of the integrated management system (D-Code in accordance with ISO 9001:2015) and EarthCheck certification, Dolder Hotel AG is committed to complying with all applicable laws and to continuously improving its sustainability performance. The Data Protection Act has been fully implemented. Dolder Hotel AG invests continuously in cybersecurity: staff undergo monthly training through simulated phishing tests, firewall configurations are regularly audited and adjusted, and IT system recovery exercises are carried out as scheduled. In 2026, a data protection compliance project will also be carried out in collaboration with OST University of Applied Sciences. No severe data protection or information security breaches were identified during the reporting year.
Risk management. The company has documented structures in place for identifying and managing operational risks. Risk assessments are carried out systematically and integrated into the sustainability management system. Emergency preparedness and hazard prevention measures are documented and reviewed regularly.
In the reporting year 2025 and in previous years, no convictions or fines were recorded for breaches of anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws.
Dolder Hotel AG operates exclusively in the hotel and catering sector. Although Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, the VSME Standard is based on the EU benchmark regulations (Delegated Regulations 2020/1816 and 2020/1818), which exclude certain sectors from reference benchmarks for climate-related indices. We therefore disclose transparently: Dolder Hotel AG does not generate revenue from the manufacture of controversial weapons, tobacco cultivation or production, the extraction of fossil fuels, or electricity generation with high GHG intensity.
